Do you have parking?
Yes. Parking is available 24 hours per day on-site and there are no height restrictions.
When is your check-in time?
Check-in time is at 2pm. If you arrive earlier, we are more than happy to store your bags until your room is ready. We do have a very comfortable waiting area in our sun-room or you can explore the surrounding area and we will call you when your room becomes available. You can guarantee your room is available prior to the check-in time by pre-registering your room from the night prior to your arrival.
What time is check-out?
Checkout time is 10am. Later checkout is subject to request and room availability. Additional charges may occur if not pre-arranged.
Are there smoking rooms available?
No. By law all of our indoor accommodation is non-smoking. We provide a comfortable covered smoking area with ashtray just a few metres from the main building. Substantial additional charges will apply for evidence of smoking indoors. There is a $250 charge for smoking in the rooms + associated costs.
Is there a minibar in the room?
Yes. Snacks and refreshments are provided in all rooms and they may be enjoyed at a nominal additional cost.
Is there a safe in the room?
No, however all rooms have individual keys and are lockable to provide security for your belongings
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public spaces at Ashdowns. Basic Wi-Fi is included in our room rates, which caters for general browsing, checking and responding to emails, etc. Instructions for accessing the Wi-Fi are found in your in-room compendium or by contacting your hosts.
Are pets allowed?
No. We do not allow guests to bring pets or livestock into our accommodation in consideration of guests who suffer from associated allergens. It’s not that we dislike pets, it’s that some of our clients have medical conditions that require us to keep them out. Hearing, sight or physically impaired travellers are welcome to contact us in regard of a cost free exception to our pet/livestock policy. Excessive damage, deliberate damage or breakages greater than fair wear and tear will be charged for.
